In the land of hoodoos

Before leaving Zion National Park, we took some photos at The Three Patriachs, named by Mormon pioneers in the area, escaping from persecution.

We then drove through the Zion – Mt Carmel Highway, which is a spectacular drive. I would describe the texture of the rocks as ice cream – ice cream as it’s being poured into a vat, ready to freeze. (see foreground)

Got into Bryce in the afternoon and said hello to the hoodoos.

At night, I tried some light painting, but quite unsuccessful, as you can see.
