Okay, so it looks like I’m starting Week 6 of the Hundred Push Ups programme has started at the end of the week rather than mid-week. Two full days of meetings from morning to night meant I was too exhausted to even think about being healthy and taking care of myself.
Repeating Weeks 4 & 5 means that this programme has already taken me 7 Weeks. But that’s okay. The point of this is to set out to get a bit more fit without giving up, even if it takes slightly longer to get there.
In Week 4, I repeated the same column and progressed to Week 5.
But when I repeated Week 5, I made it a little harder by moving to the second column which technically I wasn’t ready for when I attempted Week 5 the first time. The second column was a struggle at sections, but I managed to do about 10 more push ups at the end of Week 5’s exhaustion test.
Although I barely made it to the second column of Week 6. The second column required 51 – 60 push ups and I slipped in there with 51.
So here we go again, into uncharted territory…
The following photos appeared on The Straits Times Thursday 13th November 2008.
The photos from Reuters accompany two articles from Associated Press (AP) and Agence France-Presse (AFP), titled “First Step for Sichuan – jobs” and “Rebuilding a town brick by painful brick”, that took a whole page.

My exhaustion test at the end of Week 5 was not good enough. I needed 45 to get me into Week 6, but I only managed 40.
The instructions say I need to repeat the week. But I think I will make it difficult for myself. Instead of just repeating same column in the week, I’m going to move to the middle column this time. By right I should be fitter.
So let’s see how it goes.
Sorry about the title, but there’s really nothing better to call this. And I bet there’s going to be tonnes of these.
There are times, you just walk around and see things. And the mobile phone being such a proficient camera these days, you’re obliged to snap away and add to the growing international collection of space hogging digital photos pressed into CDs, DVDs, hard disks and never getting printed.
Since I’m not an avid a-post-every-five-minutes type of blogger, these junk photos get backlogged until I am absolutely compelled to clean up my digital gunk.
Okay, to get the ball rolling…
Ladies and Gentlemen,
May I present to you two very clean 4 year old keyboards:
After completing Week Four of the One Hundred Push Ups programme the second time over, I did the exhaustion test and completed 33 good form push ups. As a result of the exhaustion test, I go into Week Five following the first column.
I continue Week Four of the 100 push ups programme.
After ending Week Three on a positive note, Week Four is starting really hard. Harder than the third week.
Okay, so with my week two exhaustion test resulting in 22 push ups, I start week three doing the middle column.
