Lately I’ve been seeing unlikely things while walking my dog.
Is this what they mean by “attention to detail”?

thoughts escaping my mind
Okay, National Day 2007 “City of Possibilities” is long over.
Didn’t even see the parade on TV.
But I happened to be around the area on the NDP Preview show on 28th July, and although I’d been up and around on my feet since 6am, I stuck around just for the beginning of the show before getting bored with the proceedings.
Totally unprepared, these are the shots from my 18 – 70mm kit lens, so far the best kit lens from Nikon.
Okay, so I’ve got the first two rolls of film from my Yashica GSN.
I am pleased. The GSN was fixed nicely. No light leaks. And I notice from the shots during sunset it tends to make the light look redder than it actually was. Sweet.
Well, as some of you know, I’ve had difficulty getting The Right Angle to pay me for work completed in March this year.
Because of warnings from others, I insisted that I be paid in parts as work was completed. And I’m glad I did. During the project, I had to refuse to submit further work twice because payment had been delayed. Still, I completed the project and The Right Angle owed me 30% to be paid in 30 days after the final script.
Needless to say, 30 days passed. The last episode of the show aired even before this 30 day period was up. And still today, I’m waiting for money.
Seen these new machines that OCBC has installed just about everywhere that do just about everything?
Okay, there are a lot of ways to tie a knot, but this is more for me so I don’t forget how I tie a knot that I like.
A good knot, my cousin once told me, will never unravel but is easy to take out. As a sailor, he should know a thing or two about knots.
When you have to take people around – people that you would not normally mix with in your social or professional life – there are many interesting things that you learn in conversation.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity of attending a Spice Garden Walk (Level 1) and Spice Paste Demonstration (Level 2) at at-sunrice.
Spent the weekend at a kelong run by three Singaporeans. The website address is kelongfishing.com but when I checked out the website, I found it was called Hot Boys fishing.
Well, it was hot. But I don’t know who the boys are. Unless you were talking about the old uncles fishing off the kelong.
The kelong is just off Pulau Sibu which is accessed via Tanjung Leman jetty.
It’s not a real kelong and it’s run only for tourists.
