My friend insisted I get a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leica-camera.us\/photography\/m_system\/m7\/\" title=\"External Link: Leica M7\">Leica<\/a>, then later tried to push the <a href=\"http:\/\/photo.net\/photo\/pcd2668\/feet-low-angle-53.1.jpg\" title=\"External Link: Carl Zeiss Ikon\">Zeiss Ikon<\/a>, but the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cameraquest.com\/voigt4m4aintro.htm\" title=\"External Link: Cameraquest on the Voigtlander Bessa R4A\">Voigtlander Bessa R4A<\/a> is what I finally got.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It was always a clear choice why I&#8217;d go for the Voigtlander. For the price of the body alone, I can purchase two and a third Zeiss Ikon bodies or six Leica bodies. (I wanted the Leica M7.)<\/p>\n<p>I tried to put off the R4A purchase with the Yashica GSN I got earlier. To test the waters, so to speak.<\/p>\n<p>I did enjoy <a href=\"https:\/\/joanneteo.com\/wordpress\/2007\/08\/16\/first-photos-from-my-yashica-gsn\/\" title=\"First Photos from my Yashica GSN\">using the GSN<\/a>, but the camera doesn&#8217;t tell you what shutter speed it&#8217;s using and I found that frustrating. Knowing the shutter speed tells me if the shot is worth taking because only I know what speed I can handhold steadily up to.<\/p>\n<p>So I took the plunge.<\/p>\n<p>Together with the Nokton 40mm\/1.4 Single Coated lens, it makes for a fast and small package.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joanneteo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/2007-09-08_22-28-11_dsc_4636_web.jpg\" title=\"Nokton 40mm up close\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/joanneteo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/2007-09-08_22-28-11_dsc_4636_web.jpg\" alt=\"Nokton 40mm up close\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, sell the GSN or keep it?
