I’ve found some useful extensions for Chrome browser. I’m listing them down so I don’t forget.
- Exif Viewer
Mouse over a photo you see on the browser and you will get all the EXIF information on it. If it has co-ordinates, mousing over the GPS link will even show the map where the photo was taken. Since my photos usually have GPS co-ordinates, I find this very useful.
- Xmarks Bookmarks Sync
It syncs bookmarks across devices and keeps the information on a website.
- Do Not Track Me Online Privacy Protection
Watches for trackers and stops them.
- Awesome Screenshot Capture and Annotate
You can grab any part of a web browser. A section, the whole page. An alternative is the ultra simple Screen Capture by Google.
- User Agent Switching for Chrome
Some mobile phone companies disable tethering of the PC to mobile phone data based of the browser agent ID. Using this, you can disguise the PC browser as coming from say, a mobile phone or ipad.
