Ran errands, got together stuff for the important day.
Had a briefing at the park where the wedding will take place.
We had a Chinese dinner at the local restaurant. My sister arranged for the cook to cook stuff off the menu. So everything on the menu wasn’t offered on the buffet as well. The soups were a shaky start start, but the dinner ended well with good food for the other courses. The roast duck was good. Juicy, crisp skin. Much better than some crap I’ve tasted in Singapore.
My sister even got the local grocery store to bring in some Maine lobster for the dinner. Try doing that in Singapore. Getting personalised service.
One of my two readers of this blog has complained about the poor quality of photos. I hope they have improved somewhat – maybe because I’ve taken them with a real camera, rather than with my mobile phone.
More photos up in the gallery.

Wah! Your sister has really thought of nice things… Food looks/sounds fantastic.
The pho (previous post) looks great too! Argh, so much better than crap pho in singapore. it’s really sad when asian food in nebraska is better than asian food in Singapore.
