For the past five years, I’d been thinking of doing a bit of music more seriously.

I’ve never been good at music. And no matter how many lessons I was forced to take, I never did well in it like my sisters did.

Both my elder sisters have perfect pitch and they caught on the whole logic of how chords work and so on. I struggled at every step.

ICI Paint Colour Consultation

It isn’t very often that I have to say good things about products and services.

But when I do get the chance, believe me, it makes me very happy.

Because it does feel good to have a good experience and be treated well. Plus, it’s nice to share good experiences with others, so their lives can also be enhanced.

Today, it’ll be about paint. To be specific, ICI Paint’s customer service and their Colour Consultation service which is free till Dec 2007.

Just how impressed am I with ICI Paints’ customer response? Very impressed. But that’s not to say it wasn’t without hitches.

PossibiCity

Okay, National Day 2007 “City of Possibilities” is long over.

Didn’t even see the parade on TV.

But I happened to be around the area on the NDP Preview show on 28th July, and although I’d been up and around on my feet since 6am, I stuck around just for the beginning of the show before getting bored with the proceedings.

Totally unprepared, these are the shots from my 18 – 70mm kit lens, so far the best kit lens from Nikon.

Weekend at a kelong

Red and blue: Fishing at the Kelong

Spent the weekend at a kelong run by three Singaporeans. The website address is kelongfishing.com but when I checked out the website, I found it was called Hot Boys fishing.

Well, it was hot. But I don’t know who the boys are. Unless you were talking about the old uncles fishing off the kelong.

The kelong is just off Pulau Sibu which is accessed via Tanjung Leman jetty.

It’s not a real kelong and it’s run only for tourists.
